This is the Kind of Shit We Have to Deal With Here In North Carolina
The Republican party of North Carolina is fucking disgusting. Monday morning I'm heading down to their offices and verbally railing on someone in the kindest, most polite yet factually forceful way I can. Now I know what you're thinking "But Brad, you have to work Monday". Well fortunately thanks to the economy I lost my job Tuesday so I know have free time on my hand. And not just I lost my job, the whole fucking hedge fund I worked for went belly up from the stock market doing cartwheels. So Monday morning I'm going to ask why, in a time when people are loosing their jobs left and right, and in a time when folks like my dad whose been disabled since '84 can't get healthcare, why are they spending their time talking about Godless Americans and socialist muslim sandniggers taking over the country. What a disgrace the Republican party has become. Abe Lincoln must be rolling over in his grave.

First, I'm sorry you lost your job, Brad. It always sucks when someone loses their job. Second, good luck with the Republican party on Monday, please blog about every second of your encounter (if they don't shoot you). Even Colin Powell can't support McCain' campaign.
I've called and tried to get a return call from someone with the Republican party and with the McCain campaign in the past, and never any response. I've left voice messages, spoken to live people who promised they'd get someone to return my call, and nothing. So after months and months of trying on the phone and emailing in letters well I want to talk face to face. Growing up in and around Durham I've watched racial tensions in this state ease up ever so slowly, and to now have these ignorant motherfuckers fucking it up again just pisses me off to the high heavens. So yes, keep your eyes focused on puttingthingsinplainsite as I'll be delivering my report soon.

Well the quick update is no update at all. I went to the local McCain campaign which doubles as a GOP headquater, walked in, asked to speak to someone, they gave me the "person in charge" who ever the fuck he is, and he basically didn't give a shit as to what I had to say. Every point I made he just responded with "well Barack did this" and "Barack did that". I tried so to explain to him how there tactics were ripping this state apart and stirring up past racial tensions, he told me that no such thing was happening and that it's Barack Obama that's running "the most negative campaign in history". What a worthless trip, what a worthless party, what worthless people. It is worth noting though that it was a complete whitewash of people in there. I felt like I had showed up to bingo night somewhere.
And to top it all off they just found a bear cub carcass, dropped off in the middle of Western Carolina University, shot in the head, with Obama signs over it's face.
Well, have to give you an "E" for "Effort." Sorry you weren't about to bring down the Republican party in NC.
