Sorry for the lack of empathy there. It is sad to see a staple of America leave us...such as a glorious machine like the Pontiac Thunderbird or Trans Am...but that train's bind with glory was short lived on a dead end track, per foreign competition and stubborn American marketing and mindset. It's remarkable that it took us about 30 years to fully realize this.
