I thought the debut was strong but not great. Taped pieces were too long for too few laughs. Will Ferrel could've done that interview by himself. Pearl Jam sounded bad and looked worse. The set looked amazing. Richter laughed too much. Kimmel and Dave might be tied for best monologuing in Late Night now. My prediction is that after the "lookie-loo" period dies down Conan will do slightly worse than Jay, Dave will do slightly better than usual and they'll alternate winning and losing based solely on guests. Advantage Conan.
