Great New Year song. I'm really interested in picking up this record as I like their early stuff like "The Rat". It has a very organic quality to the sound which is a nice break in this highly processed world we live in.
And as for optimism, yeah I'd say I feel pretty goddamn optimistic about the upcoming year. America has always been such a wonderful place of ideas, and hope, and talent, and hardwork. We've just been sorely lacking a good leader to pull all the pieces together and move us forward. I feel like finally Sam Cooke's change is gonna come.
