The James is a River

A couple of friends, peers, fellow young americans of mine put together The Eight Track. One of the songs from the record is supposed to compete in one of the weeks, Everyman Righteous, not sure which week though.

And check this out sometime on Monday (in the Spotlight, Etsy Finds:).

Those come out everyday...Etsy Finds. I've done a couple so far, but was particulary proud of tying that one into spring.

i was able to follow the etsy idea. i was questioning the "eight track." does it lend itself to anything beyond the initial exposure? is it a greater project of any kind? (in REAL LIFE, i'm moving my hands and inflecting my voice! when confused, i immediately ask further questions! now, i'm talking like a robot! but somehow, the joke's still on me!) . . . blasted internet.

I thought it was cool reading your (Jay) baseball write-up on Etsy. You know I never care if we ever get back... Give us a heads up on the RVA site!

(Nat) that was a great Nation article, biting!

Ohhh, sorry Nat.

Is there not a bit about what it is exactly? (I checked while writing this and no they don't)

My understanding is that each week musicians compete, then winners face off, and so on, kind of like a basketball pool. Then i guess the overall winner gets a spot on the Eight Track. The Eight Track (eight different winners) is then distributed somehow...

Your nation link didn't work

Got it to work...great, I love biting...

"I don't even understand that last line. A son shows his father...his boy? So the father is a grandfather? Is this some sort of Southern Gothic goes to the ballpark?"

His mother was the surgeon, duh!

If there are any fuzzy hotdog magnets hanging out at the Etsy offices, snag me a few.

I am going to Alchemy myself some pants made entirely of pockets.
