On the same day that John Sidney McCain III went on the Today show and said that bringing troops home from Iraq is "not too important" famed GOP strategist Floyd Brown (of Willie Horton fame) has dropped this little nugget of an ad. I fear that this is only going to get uglier.
Yeah, I have some of those in my family. And you tell them over and over and over that it's not true, that TIME magazine and Newsweek did articles about how it's not true, and their response? "I got the Goddamn email so I know it's true, that's why they sent that email out to warn everybody".
Well that's because you don't have any utterly racist family members. I get these hate mongering e-mails far too often and it frustrates me. It's hard to reason with an 81 year old boxer.
Me and my Mama went to an Obama rally, and my mom got interviewed for the local news. She said "They say that if you're over 50 and a woman then you're a Hillary voter, well I'm 55years old and I'm voting for Barack Obama!". My Memaw (mama's mama) saw it and called my mom a "Goddamn Niggerlover" to her face and then said "I can't believe my faggot grandson is voting for that Nigger".lol
My great Aunt Betty got the email and said that she can't vote for a "muslim nigger who wont salute the flag", but now she's come around. She said that she found out the flag thing aint true, and that she can get over the fact that he's a muslim.
My grandpa compares him to a bulldog with a temper "you never know when he's gonna blow up" and he believes that once elected as president, "crimes in america will double because black people will think they are anointed and will try to take over". They took our joooobs! I wonder what goes on in his head but he is super old and was brought up in a different world. He also is a big Fox News fan and I would watch it with him when I lived in Florida as a bonding experience, however perpetually pissed off.
Living in New York, it is nice being surrounded by 90% liberals (and most of the conservatives are on Staten Island anyways, no one ever goes there).
I rememeber back in 2004 trying to convince my fellow Virginians to vote against Bush (for John Kerry) and it was like talking to wall, only a wall probably had more sense than some of those people.

This ad will only work for people who already believed, or refuse to seek truth.

HAHAHA!
I would love to read the email, post it if you got it. For some reason it hasn't made its way up north.

"Vet the Vetters!" is my new favorite phrase.
